| This Cemetery is located in Jessamine county, Kentucky, about six miles south of the village of Nicholasville, on the grounds known as Camp Nelson, an entrenched camp, and a rendezvous for the reception and organization of troops during the war. It contains the remains of Union Soldiers who died at this point, as well as those from the battlefields of Perryville and those who had been interred at Frankfort, Harrodsburg, Richmond, Camp Dick Robinson and other places in the vicinity. | ||||||||||||||||||
