This just in:

One of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks was traded to the New York Jets from the Green Bay Packers, ending both a long storied relationship which got rocky when the veteran decided not to retire.  Through out the Chicagoland area could hear many a Bear fans yell while simultaneously our friendly northern neighbors stated the obvious . Mostly well known, when the veteran opened negotiations with the Packers they had no intention of letting the aged player compete for his old position, instead, setting their sights on the younger protégé to guide them through the coming years and years of failure, injuries, blackout dates and the ever favored QB carousel.  Later, on Wednesday, it was leaked two teams were in the running for the valued quarterback; New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The fan base in Green Bay believe the team management has made a gross mistake letting the face of the franchise go. Throughout team meetings the players were educated how to deal with the press during this period. Many suggestions from a free lanced public relations guru trained the players using key catch phrases when asked about their former teammate. Management did get one suggestion to the players, of course behind closed doors at the opening of training camp, Press here to listen to the Packer front office addressing the players.

Thursday, the New York Jets won the affections of the veteran player stating the positives of being in New York and associated with the Jets. Some of the many reasons, new training facilities and pratice location in New Jersey, new stadium and marketing appeal in one of America's largest cities. An hour after the trade a Jet #4 jersey was on the Jet's web site ready for purchase with Farve's name, in the event all the Packer fan base abondon the frozen tudra for the only slightly less frozen fields of the Garden State.

Lastly, a rumor started about the Buc's manager enjoying the collection QB's, especially ones who have never been seriously injured nor had a suspect career. After New York annouced its victory, an echo raced from Florida accross the USA, eminating from Mr. Gruden as he announced his displeasure of not winning the affections of Brett Farve click here

Finally, a word of caution.... if New York trade's Mr. Farve, there is a warning attached to the agreement or "poison pill"; NYJ would give up 3 first round draft picks.

I think Minnesota Vikings would give up three first round draft picks, just to %^&# over the Packers LOL!! GAWD WOULD THAT BE GREAT!

Meanwhile, a wedding is planned between Mr. Farve and Mr. Madden in Hattiesburg, MS. Mr. Farve purchased the designer gown at the local Walmart, the shoes from the local swap-meet and the viel from an old cow utter meshing used for holding ole betsey's utter up. Mr. Madden is said to own several tuxedo's from Italy, France, Germany, Mexico and Texas (with hat)

Go Bears!!
