This Cemetery is situated the Jefferson Barracks Reservation, ten miles south of St. Louis, Missouri and about one-sixth of a mile west of the Mississippi River.  It contains the remains fo Union Soldiers principally from Cape Girardeau, Pilot Knob, Warsaw, Rolla, Macon City, Patterson and vicinity, Greenville, Bloomfield, Huntsville and Jefferson City, Missouri and those who died in Hospitals in St. Louis.
